If you're into culinary finds, the buttermilk biscuits were a game changer! Also, I loved the proximity to standout spots like Shahrazad and White Spot for tasty eats. Plus, the spacious King Room added a nice touch.
The cleaning really missed the mark. almost all the linens were stained and there was dust everywhere. The tub's faucet was a bit wonky and didn't spray properly. It's a bummer because it could shine with better attention to detail.

The main positives were the clean beds and the friendly staff. I appreciated the staff being helpful when I needed extra towels. The King Room I stayed in had two comfortable king beds, which made a difference for a good night's sleep. I encountered some issues though. The bathroom needed serious attention. I found it quite dirty, and the floors could use a deep clean. The air conditioner wasn't very effective, and it struggled to cool the room down. Additionally, I faced noise disturbances from the busy street outside, which made it hard to relax at times. Overall, it met my basic needs, but the cleanliness was disappointing.

clean underground parking, spacious rooms, good water pressure
This hotel feels like a lot of missed opportunities!!! Unpleasant odors and overlooked cleanliness are major concerns. Improve maintenance for items like the air conditioning and bathroom exhaust fan. Consider investing in deep cleaning and better room checks!!!

Great location, super close to downtown! Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I had a TV issue. The beds were cozy, making for an enjoyable stay overall. Easy to get to nearby attractions.
The bathroom could use a bit more attention to cleanliness.

The hotel offers clean underground parking.
My experience at Island Travel Inn was appalling. The bathroom was filthy. I found hair stuck in the bathtub drain, and the floor was so dirty that it turned my cleaning towel black. To my disbelief, the staff refused to provide an extra blanket despite my request, insisting that two beds meant only two blankets! It's unbelievable that a hotel could neglect basic cleanliness and customer service to this extent.

This was a bittersweet stay. The room was clean and cozy, which made our time comfortable. However, the incessant dog barking all night really put a damper on our relaxation. Overall, I’m unsure if I’d come back.

Great location and comfy beds
I really enjoyed my stay, especially the super comfortable beds and the hotel's prime location right next to Chinatown. It was easy to get to major spots like the Royal BC Museum on foot or by bus. However, I noticed the bathroom could use some serious attention. it wasn't as clean as I hoped it would be.

The hotel boasts a clean underground parking area, which is a great perk for families traveling with a car. We especially love the hotel's proximity to major attractions, making it easy for us to explore with our kids. The spacious King Room we stayed in was perfect for our family's needs, providing ample room for everyone to relax comfortably.
The bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired, which was disappointing during our stay.
